“If America carries out an attack on our nuclear weapons, it will be difficult for us to fight America. Therefore, we should drop nuclear weapons on the Indian cities of Delhi and Mumbai. Let’s see what happens next later” — this is yet another insane threat that recently emerged from Pakistani soil. The person scratching his own skin this time is Abdul Basit, who previously served as the Pakistani High Commissioner to India.
Such eccentric threats from Pakistan are nothing new. It is in their nature to repeatedly indulge in ‘nuclear blackmail.’ It is unknown how many Pakistanis have spoken like this so far; officials and former officials of all ranks have issued nuclear threats.
America has not yet given a clear statement regarding an attack on Pakistan. There is no need to take seriously the recent statement by Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), who said, “Pakistan is a truer nuclear concern for America than Iran.” This is because, from the beginning, America has reared Pakistan as a ‘challenge to India.’
As long as ‘Field Marshal’ Asim Munir dances like a pet in Donald Trump’s house and follows American orders, Pakistanis have no fear of America. Only if they lean too much toward China in a rush to ‘balance’ the America-China alliances will they face American intolerance.
According to some experts, the control and safety switch of Pakistan’s nukes have been in America’s hands for a long time. America is partially controlling Pakistani nukes to ensure they do not fall into the hands of Jihadi terrorists.

Such situations have occurred in the past. On all those occasions, Pakistanis have displayed the shameless artistry of managing things somehow by surrendering to America.
Everyone knows where and how Imran Khan, who confronted America, is today. Given this reality, why did Abdul Basit say, “If America attacks Pakistan…”? This is a matter to ponder.
“Pakistan’s turn after Iran” is a naive theory believed by some in India. According to the arguments being spread by many self-proclaimed ‘geopolitical astrologers’ currently swarming the internet: “A secret deal has been struck between Trump and Modi. Both will finish Pakistan together. Pakistan will break into 4-5 pieces this year. In India’s horoscope, the period of Mars, the lord of war, is running. Planetary movements are dragging India to the battlefield. India is preparing to give a massive blow to Pakistan. That is why mock drills are happening in Delhi.”
There is no difference between these statements of ‘astrologers’ and the statements of some in Pakistan who say, “India is preparing to attack us under false pretexts.”
India has already officially stated, “If Pakistan attacks India, Operation Sindoor will continue. This time, it will not stop until Pakistan is completely floored.” The madness of twisting this statement randomly to gain more views is widespread on the internet.
If anyone is to crush Pakistan and break it into 4-5 pieces, only India possesses both that willpower and military capability. America or China will not do that work. It is a daydream to think America will do it. Anyone with an understanding of history and current realities knows this. India may not attack Pakistan on its own.
Two years ago, no astrologer or geopolitical expert said Trump would finish Khamenei! What is the answer to the ‘common sense’ question: what benefit would Donald Trump get by joining India to finish Pakistan? Are American officials so foolish as to suppress the Pakistanis who are listening to them and clear India’s path without any obstacles? We need to think logically, in the light of realities and common sense.
What is the reason behind the anti-Pakistan statement given by Tulsi Gabbard? Many ‘guesses’ are possible. One possibility is that she has to give a logically acceptable statement before the Congressional Committee; she cannot say Iran’s nukes are wrong while Pakistan’s are right. Another could be internal politics to put Donald Trump in a bit of a spot. There are rumors that Trump is thinking of removing her from the DNI post. Or, since she belongs to the American indigenous community and later became a Hindu, she might have the intention of speaking this way regarding Pakistan—many such guesses are possible.
It is also possible to say, “This might be a strategic statement of the Trump administration.” The reason for this suspicion is a few reports. According to reliable experts, it is not Pakistani politicians, nor entirely the Military-ISI, who manage Pakistan’s nuclear weapons—but America itself! Yes, according to some experts, the control and safety switch of Pakistan’s nukes have been in America’s hands for a long time. America is partially controlling Pakistani nukes to ensure they do not fall into the hands of Jihadi terrorists. From the beginning, Pakistanis have been careful to avoid an Iran-like situation ‘by letting America inside.’ If these words are true, what does it mean when the American DNI says, “Pakistan is the biggest nuclear concern for us”? Doesn’t it indirectly portray that there is no connection between Pakistani nukes and America? That is why the Trump administration might have cleverly said this through its DNI. As part of this grand drama, Pakistanis might also be giving imaginary statements like, “If America pounces on us…”
These are all probable guesses made based on certain factors. It is difficult for us to know their veracity. I do not know who the ‘all-knowing geopolitical expert’ is who can say, “It is like this, this is the truth.” Let’s not assume YouTube astrologers are ‘all-knowing.’
Whatever the matter, the Pakistani threat of “let’s drop a nuke on India” continues unabated. Why wait until America attacks Pakistan to drop a nuke on India? Where did this hollow bravado go when India itself was breaking Pakistan’s backbone during Operation Sindoor? It is natural for the incapable to scratch their own skin. Nevertheless, one cannot remain quiet thinking, “this too is a crazy talk as usual.” One must always keep a close watch on those who have gone mad. Because there are external forces that occasionally incite madness (when it suits them) and then unleash them.
Nuclear issues aside, there are reports that many Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists are being prepared to launch an attack against India now. It is likely because the Indian Central Government has taken this development seriously that it is conducting high-level security meetings and mock drills.
If Pakistanis do not remain quiet and challenge India themselves, swift operations might take place from India. India is ready for war. But it cannot be said that India has the intention of war. India has been prioritizing silently nipping Pakistan’s misadventures in the bud. No declared change has been seen in this policy.
Among America and China, it is hard to say who will ‘unleash’ Pakistan against India and when.

Two major powers are fostering Pakistan against India. One, America. The other, China. Pakistanis manage both countries ‘somehow’ by leaning more towards China at times and more towards America at others. The help of Pakistan is inevitable for both these countries. This is because it is intolerable for them to see India grow into a supreme power. Thus, even knowing Pakistan’s double-dealing, they tolerate Pakistanis due to their inevitability and dependency. Among America and China, it is hard to say who will ‘unleash’ Pakistan against India and when.
Even though there is a calculation in America that India can be used against China, the feeling that ‘India should not be allowed to become another China (a big power)’ is intense. Clear and direct statements have already come from American leaders saying, “Previously, we allowed China to grow. We will not repeat the mistake made in the past. We will not let India become another China,” so no doubts remain in this matter. There might also be internal anger that India is not dancing to America’s tune in the current war against Iran.
From the beginning, Pakistan has been others’ pet dog. It was Western powers that intentionally divided India and created Pakistan. The very purpose of Pakistan’s birth and existence is to stop India’s growth and to continuously try to control India.
It is an old strategy of cunning powers to occasionally pose challenges and crack the whip on India through Pakistan. Fostering Jihadi forces when they want, unleashing them against their targets, declaring a ‘war against Jihadis’ when they feel troubled by them, and again creating and using them—this is an old habit of America and Europe. Behind the birth of all Jihadi forces active now (including Iran), there is a dark history of support from America and Europe. Such a dangerous game has been played for a long time.
The forces that tried to bring back old tactics of challenging India through planned terrorist attacks in Pahalgam did not expect a strong counter-attack like ‘Operation Sindoor.’ Especially when ‘Sindoor’ destroyed the Nur Khan base—notorious as ‘America’s secret base in Pakistan’—it was like a blow under the blanket. One cannot speak of the injury sustained, nor endure it internally. Such was the state of America.
Talk was heard that Pakistan’s nuclear capability had significantly collapsed due to the Sindoor blow. But no one—neither India, Pakistan, nor America—has officially clarified it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had implicitly said in his speech, “Nuclear blackmail threats will no longer work.” It is unknown how that can be interpreted.
As if to make people believe that its ‘nuclear capability still exists,’ Pakistan is still continuing its nuclear threats as usual.
