If the US reveals any significant documents that are worthy of verification and capable of causing wonder, it will be a major development in the world. If it simply shows some 'low-resolution' images to divert people's attention and stays quiet, then doubts and 'conspiracy theories' will continue just as before.

“The U.S. Defense Department will very soon reveal all the secret files we have regarding UAP,” the US President Donald Trump has been repeatedly stating. In February, he even issued an order to the Department of Defense. The documents have not yet been released (at the time of writing this). However, Trump’s promise that “we will release them very quickly” continues.

There are two types of reactions to Trump’s actions. On one hand, there is the argument that “secrets regarding UFOs (UAP) should no longer be kept; everything must be revealed honestly and transparently at once.” On the other hand, there is suspicion and criticism: “Trump, who is entangled in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, created new global problems through the Iran war to divert everyone’s attention. Now he is bringing up the UAP report. This too is to divert people’s attention away from the Epstein scandal.”

Whichever of these two is the truth, any further documents Trump might reveal may succeed in turning global attention toward UAP once again. This is because the subject itself is such. “Unidentified Flying Objects” (UFO), or as the U.S. has recently been “officially” calling them, “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAP), is a subject that has intensely attracted the attention and curiosity of people across many countries and for centuries, remaining an unresolved mystery. In today’s era of cameras, the circulation of many ‘real’ and ‘fake’ photos and videos regarding UAP has increased. It is becoming difficult to know which is real and which is fake. Since the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has officially released selected military records in the past, doubts and mockery regarding “whether all this is true” have reduced significantly. Many mainstream scientists are eager to examine the records (e.g., Prof. Avi Loeb of Harvard).

“It is true that UFOs are coming to Earth; we have seen them,” many people have been saying for hundreds of years. There are photos and videos of them. However, no governments had officially confirmed their existence until now. It is noteworthy that so far, only the U.S. has been talking extensively about the UAP issue. Officials from a few countries like Israel and Brazil have also made public statements. Many countries, including India (UK, China, Russia, Europe), have quietly conducted investigations into UFOs in the past. But they have not revealed the details. The U.S. has gathered more information than any other country on this matter and is making statements that it is ready to reveal it. Therefore, if it truly reveals any significant documents that are worthy of verification and capable of causing wonder, it will be a major development in the world. If it simply shows some ‘low-resolution’ images to divert people’s attention and stays quiet, then doubts and ‘conspiracy theories’ will continue just as before.

In 2021, the ‘Pentagon’ admitted that the appearance of UAP vehicles is real. In its report, unknown flying vehicles were referred to by a new name: “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAP). It is noteworthy that even though the official name has changed, the fact that UFO sightings are real has been admitted in congressional committee hearings as well.

Historical images, media reports, testimonies provided by people, stories of their experiences, and books regarding UFO vehicles are innumerable. It is said that videos of UAP vehicles captured by U.S. military officials through radar and fighter jets are also innumerable. Among them, only a few ‘selected’ ‘low-resolution’ videos have been released, and it has been ‘officially’ accepted that it is a fact that military officials have seen these vehicles.

It has also been admitted in the official report of the Defense (now War) Department that their technology is wonderful and so advanced that it is beyond our understanding. The government task force appointed for the investigation has submitted an official report to the U.S. House of Representatives (Congress). Despite all this, there are murmurs that scientists have not been taken into confidence. There are complaints that high-quality records that would benefit scientists are being intentionally withheld. The lack of availability of verifiable records has created two types of reactions: “something is being hidden” and “this all might be a fake story.” Amidst this, Trump’s promise that “we will release the records” and the usual lack of interest from other countries continue as always.

In the past, the British government had conducted an official inquiry into “Have people really seen flying saucers?” It had publicly released files containing dialogues between the government and the people (‘X-Files’) back then. But it did not confirm how much truth there was regarding the UFO issue. The U.S. military had also conducted such an inquiry in the past. It was named ‘Project Blue Book.’ At that time, the Project Blue Book investigators reported that ‘flying saucers are just people’s imagination!’ There was always an argument that ‘the U.S. government continued its investigation secretly even after that.’ Later, after the Pentagon reports came out, that claim was proven true. The Pentagon’s statement can be considered the “world’s first official admission regarding the truth of UFOs.”

Some former Pentagon officials have been saying for a few years that U.S. Navy pilots themselves have captured several videos and radar images of UFO flights, and they possess high-quality (high-resolution) videos. Although some images and videos have become public, high-quality videos have not yet been revealed.

The few images that have been released did not come out very easily. Some Pentagon officials fought to ensure they were released. Some officials had been arguing that the Pentagon, which had been secretly investigating UAP from the beginning, must tell the truth to the people because it is a matter of national security. Intense pressure was built on the U.S. Defense Department to give an official statement. As a result, an internal investigation was organized. It was led by Luis Elizondo, a senior official in the Defense Intelligence division. He himself alleged, “I am not being allowed to tell the truth in this matter; my mouth is being shut,” and resigned from his post (in 2017). He revealed as much information as he could within the limits of laws and regulations. “The New York Times” published it as a front-page lead story. Later, channels like CNN also made it a major news item. Former President Barack Obama also spoke, showing that he had an open mind on this subject.

After all this, questions arose: “If UFOs are flying at will in the American sky like this, it is both an intelligence failure of the country and a question of national security.” By the end of 2020, during his first term, President Donald Trump ordered the Defense Department to “conduct an investigation into this and submit an official report.” A task force was organized for this purpose. Its name was “The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF).” Donald Trump signed this order on December 27, 2020, and ordered the submission of a report within 180 days. Accordingly, the official report arrived. “It is true that UAPs are flying; but what are they? Where are they coming from? — that is not known; we do not have any evidence to say for sure whether they are extraterrestrial vehicles or not; they are certainly not secret operational or experimental vehicles of the U.S. itself; or even if we assume they are vehicles launched by Russia or China without the U.S. knowing, the supreme technology seen in them is of a level that would be impossible for humans to achieve even in 100 years; thus, it is difficult to assume that Russia or China already possess such technology” — this is the essence of that investigation report.

According to the public statements of U.S. officials so far (and according to their videos), UAP – alien vehicles possess wonderful technology and have displayed speeds and accelerations that are impossible to even imagine. For any flying machine to do all that, power equivalent to thousands of megawatts is required. Even if a nuclear reactor is placed inside the vehicle, such energy storage is impossible. Producing and managing that much within a single vehicle is a dream for humans.

Luis Elizondo, in his book titled “Imminent,” has described many thrilling developments and incidents regarding this. He had also written about some secret experiments conducted by the Pentagon. There were also news reports that some of his Pentagon colleagues were writing books.

“I know you have more information. Reveal that too,” Luis Elizondo and UFO enthusiasts have been urging the U.S. government. The U.S. government has registered two domains: alien.gov and aliens.gov. Why two domains? The reason is not known.

We have to see what Trump reveals—details of extraterrestrials or details of citizens of other countries that the U.S. is expelling! Perhaps a website could be designed for each! Are Trump’s antics ever ordinary?
